Looking forward to seeing you all at the 4th Annual Power of Flowers Project Plant Sale to be held on Saturday, May 4, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Tewksbury Senior Center.
One of the features of our Plant Sales is the Raffle. Every year we raffle off some wonderful garden-themed items and here are highlights from this year’s offerings:
Succulent Garden with Live Plants and “Friend.” This is a delightful succulent garden in a wooden planter with rope handles. Hidden among the 4 plants is an adorable little frog in a yoga pose perched on a rock engraved “Find Peace.” Who wouldn’t find peace in this wonderful place? The planter was created and donated by Sheila S., one of our long-time POFP volunteers, who says that the planter “requires a sunny spot.” BONUS: This item comes with a gift card from Cataldo Nurseries.
Patio Container Kit. Here’s a terrific reinforced ceramic patio container chock-a-block full of all you need to create your own container garden (except the plants of course). Luckily, at the Plant Sale on May 4, you’ll have a wide variety of plants to select and buy. This container was donated and filled by our own Joyce B., Power of Flowers founder. There’s some top-notch potting soil, sturdy gardening gloves, a kneeling pad, a trowel, and other goodies all artfully arranged in a lovely, heavy container with a pleasing geometric design, complete with a drainage hole. BONUS: This item comes with a gift card from Lowes.
