The 2018 Volunteer Appreciation Brunch brought together, in the same room, 75 Power of Flowers Project volunteers.
The chatting and laughter filled the room and spilled out onto the balcony and down the stairs at the Tewksbury Country Club.
However, Leslie K., our Executive Director, had the crowd’s rapt attention when she unveiled the new logo.
In blog #2, we look at the new logo.
“We are so excited to unveil this logo to you today,” Leslie told the crowd. “The members of the Marketing Committee have worked very hard to visually capture the impact our work has on the communities we serve. And YOU, our volunteers, deserve to be the first to see it!”
Leslie went on to explain the meaning behind each element of the new logo.
The combination of the intense, single flower anchored above our name, which is in a large, sturdy font, grabs your attention in the same way an unexpected bouquet overtakes your senses.
The subtle heart-shaped petals of the brightly colored flower convey the caring that YOU put into each bouquet you make.
“Sharing Hope and Happiness,” the new tagline, captures the spirit of our mission to bring joy, promote healing, and share the power of kindness in the communities we serve.
“Through our new logo and tagline, we establish our organization?s value to our community of care facilities,” concluded Leslie. “Over 75,000 people have experienced the power of receiving an unexpected bouquet of beautiful, live flowers. We are excited to introduce a brand identity that reflects the impact of our work.”
The crowd applauded.
