Volunteer Appreciation Brunch Blog #1: What YOU Accomplished

The Volunteer Appreciation Brunch, held June 13 at the Tewksbury Country Club, was a power-packed two-hour event. It’s going to take several blogs to cover everything!

In blog #1, we review YOUR AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENTS!

Our Executive Director, Leslie Kirle, shared the stunning breadth of the things YOU have done since the 2017 Appreciation Brunch.

YOU, our Valued Volunteers,

Contributed 9,500 hours and delivered 18,000 bouquets
Brought hope and happiness to over 1,000 seniors at Flower Therapy Workshops
    Engaged business in Kindness Connections
Built strong partnerships with 88 flower donors and 130 care communities in 30 cities and towns
    Made our fundraisers successful
    Recycled 3,000 floral containers

Leslie told the volunteers that our FUTURE IS BRIGHT. And she reminded us that whatever you do — at the workshop, in the community, or behind the scenes — YOU ARE VALUED!
