White Rose at 9/11 Memorial and Museum

Claire recommends the September 11 Memorial and Museum, which was “beautiful.” Located in the Westfield World Trade Center, 180 Greenwich St, in New York City, the museum commemorates the September 11, 2001 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Photo by Rosemary B. IntingaroFor a change of pace, The New York Botanical Garden is always uplifting. It is a National Historic Landmark and one of the greatest botanical gardens in the world and the largest of any city in the US. See their website for admission, hours, and directions www.nybg.org.

Whenever you plan to take advantage of your auction winnings, there’s plenty to do in the city that never sleeps.

The gift certificates were donated by a generous, long-time POF volunteer, who suggests using C&J Bus Lines, a luxury bus that goes directly from Tewksbury to Times Square non-stop in 4 hours. Claire heartily agrees and said that the seats on the C&J bus had ” more room than on an airplane. Very comfy seats. Toilet, WIFI, and coffee and snacks provided.” Check out their website for rates and schedules at www.ridecj.com/locations/tewksbury-ma/
