Some Merry Elves: Mary G., Barb B., Claire T., and Georgia D.
With the sold-out Luncheon just a few days away, the Power of Flowers Volunteers are putting the finishing touches on the largest POF fundraiser of the year.
Merry Elves have busily and beautifully wrapped and decorated the 45 raffle items, the 45 silent auction items, and the 50 bottles of wine for the wine pull. And what an array of items?
From American Girl dolls to electric weed eaters; from beautifully framed works of art to baskets of candy and goodies; and from a trip to the Big Apple to a trip in a rented Corvette to a candy box filled with money? sweet treats all! Just waiting for some successful bidder or lucky winner to take their prizes home.
Our new Garden Cart is powered up and ready to hold 300+ POF colorful signature bouquets, one for each attendee to take home. It will be a sight to behold.
While the Fundraising Committee has been planning and working, the folks at the Tewksbury County Club have been getting that gorgeous facility ready to host a scrumptious turkey dinner for 300 attendees, perfect for what will surely be a glorious fall day.
Candy Box containing Sweeeeet Treats!
Before lunch, Joyce B., POF founder, and Michelle Silveira, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer from Jeanne D?Arc Credit Union, the Presenting sponsor, will each say a few words. After lunch, Leslie K., POF Executive Director, has a short presentation planned, which will be followed by the results of the raffle and the winning bids for the auction items.
So come early to check out the things up for auction and the beautiful raffle baskets and items. Take chances on things in the raffle; bid early and bid often on auction articles! Enjoy a beverage while you mingle, make new friends, and renew acquaintances.
We look forward to seeing you on the 18th!
